Sacramentum Vitae

Tonight at St. Matthew's Church in East Syracuse, NY, we celebrated a Novus Ordo High Mass for the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. The pastor celebrated ad orientem those parts of the Mass addressed to God the Father. Our schola cantorum, in which I sing bass, sang the Ordinary in Latin and Palestrina's "Bonus est Dominus" as a communion motet. Instead of hymns, we chanted the "proper" antiphons in English.
